I’m Collette Handy, the proud owner of FAIRCHOICE Mortgage Co. I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

I started this business out of a passion for helping clients manage the mortgage equation. I was a financial consultant who was fascinated by how much of a client’s mortgage payment goes to interest. It also helps that I understand how debts and assets work.

I have been in business for forty-seven years, in financial services for thirty-seven, and specializing in mortgage for twenty-seven years. Over time, the market has changed, but our purpose has always been the same. We give our all each and every day!

I particularly enjoy starting with the client’s current situation and carving a path to where they want to be. Structuring the way to achieve their goal is both challenging and exciting. The most rewarding part of owning the business is seeing different generations, often in the same family, develop and prosper. Owning the company also allows me to make value decisions that benefit the clients.

My philosophy is to use my expertise and contacts to add maximum value to our clients, business associates, and workers. Doing business with FAIRCHOICE Mortgage Co. is an enriching experience in all ways!

As an individual, what sets me apart from others is honesty, clarity, and my commitment to providing value.

I attribute my success to having detailed knowledge of the financial markets and understanding debt and asset management. I use this expertise and experience to find strategies that radically and dramatically improve the lives of the ones we touch.

Watching the children and grandchildren of our clients get into the market and achieve success has given me immense satisfaction.

During my downtime

I love meditating, learning, and doing charity work when I am not at work. All in all, I enjoy improving people’s quality of life. I am also passionate about making sure children are financially literate.
